I'm sure all the shoe-gazing indie kids out there will want to wrap me in a tight fitting t-shirt and force me to bike ride around Allston or Williamsburg when they read this but I have to be honest, I don't care at all about Scott Pilgrim. I know many found the comic book series to be grabbing onto the short and curlys of genius but I just didn't see it that way. The basic plot is that Pilgrim has a girlfriend just as indie kooky as he is but her five ex-boyfriends are trying to kill him. From there wackiness ensues as Pilgrim fights them off or doesn't fight them off or whatever. However it all goes down there are five books of it. FIVE BOOKS!!
The movie stars one-trick-pony Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim and looks to be as drenched in false cool as the books were. It's true the girls are hot but still, this looks like some kind of indie comic fans wet dream. Here are the shots
