Okay before the nerd revolution starts this isn't a real trailer for a movie based on a game (unlike the upcoming Monopoly and Battleship movies) but rather a fan trailer that's pretty goddamn funny. If you're familiar with the long running game then you'll be amped, if not then it won't be funny at all. Anyway, dig the trailer:

AND NOW FOR NO REASON: FERRIS BUELLER FIGHT CLUB

Okay first off I gotta come clean, I totally stole that picture from /FILM. One of their writers posted a thing about how Ferris Bueller was just a figment of Cameron's imagination much like Brad Pitt to Ed Norton in Fight Club. I love the idea since Cameron was my favorite part of the movie anyway. Then the folks over at CLASSY HANDSedited together this trailer for it which kicks ass.

AND NOW FOR NO REASON: 80'S FIREFLY

I love Firefly for many reasons. One I thought the show was super kick ass, two I loved that the Baldwin brother from My Bodyguard was in it and three it was the first time I laid eyes on Summer Glau. In the vein of that love I give you this, which I found over at TOPLESS ROBOT. Somebody re-edited the opening credits to Firefly giving it a super awesome eighties show feel ala Buck Rogers or The Powers Of Matthew Star. Check it out
